Turkish Side Put Staggering €150 Million Price Tag On Nigerian Star

NIGERIA: Media sources in Nigeria confirm that Galatasaray has decisively priced Victor Osimhen at €150 million. It is no secret that top European clubs are interested in signing the big Super Eagles international, but it seems his services will not just come cheap.

Punch NG states Galatasaray is acutely aware of serious interest from Arsenal, Juventus, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, all determined to secure Osimhen this summer.

Galatasaray refuses to release their valued squad member easily. Osimhen’s massive price reflects his outstanding domestic and Champions League performances.

Following his impressive performances in the Turkish Super Lig this season, the West African star has once again put himself among the most sought-after strikers in Europe currently.

Osimhen has netted 13 goals while recording five assists in the Turkish League this campaign. At the same time, the 27-year-old has seven goals in the Champions League, including a single assist out of 10 matches in the European competition.

Following such a remarkable run, Osimhen is now believed to be on the radar of clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Juventus, Madrid and Barcelona, while Spanish outlet Diario AS claims that Gala have placed a huge €150 million tag next to his name.

“Galatasaray have set a €150m asking price for Victor Osimhen as speculation continues over his future, with the Nigerian striker reaffirming his strong attachment to the Turkish club,” reports Punch NG per AfricanFootball.

While it remains to be seen how Osimhen’s long-term future will play out as he continues to be linked with a big-money move to European giants, a transfer to one of the European big guns is on the cards.

Apart from the recent news, the forward known for his trademark blonde hair has frequently pledged his allegiance to Galatasaray this season, a factor that could influence his asking price should he decide to leave the club in the coming months.

1899 Hoffenheim Also Put Asking Price On Ivorian Forward

Regarding transfers, FenceAfrica24 understands that German Bundesliga side 1899 Hoffenheim demands more than €40 million for Ivory Coast hitman Bazoumana Traore.

Reports circulating in the Bundesliga circles suggest that Hoffenheim have already placed their evaluation on the Elephants international just before the crazy transfer window of the upcoming transfer window.

Bazoumana managed to get his name on the scoresheet during Hoffenheim’s 3-all draw against VFB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga this past weekend. He took his goal tally to 16 in the league, having featured for Die Kraichgauer in 28 matches.

Hoffenheim has placed a substantial price tag on Bazoumana amid strong Premier League interest. Kicker confirms Hoffenheim aims for at least €40 million.

The 20-year-old Ivorian star is currently under contract until 2029 and has no exit or release clause in his deal as he continues to grow as one of the Bundesliga’s best up-and-coming talents from the African continent.

Looking at other reports from Get Football News Germany, EPL giants Liverpool are also said to be keeping a close eye on the player, with the Reds now planning for life without Egyptian talisman, Mohamed Salah. Salah will leave the former European champions at the end of the current EPL campaign.

Liverpool has also expressed clear interest in RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, aiming to prevent Manchester United from acquiring the talent.
