Over the last day, Gaza has witnessed a tragic escalation, with over 320 lives lost, including numerous women and children, during an overnight assault. The city resounded with the boom of artillery as Israeli troops responded to the attack on their populace. Health officials reported Israeli air raids on a convoy attempting to flee Gaza.
Following an Israeli warning, numerous Palestinian civilians have evacuated northern Gaza. Israel had issued a notice advising Palestinians to relocate southward in anticipation of impending air strikes.
At least 2,215 Palestinians have been killed and over 8,700 wounded in Israeli air attacks on Gaza. The number of people killed in Israel have reached 1,300Â with morethan 3,400 wounded.
